I'm not sure a 5 years deal endorses the Prince being skint. I imagine (based on nothing but my imagination) it's a way of structuring a deal which allows the club to pay less every month which also keeps PH happy, knowing he'll get a good pay off when it all comes crashing down (which it inevitably will)
