Headers in the box.

Thought there were a few good centers in from both wings today but since we have lost Harry and Collins we don't seem to have a quality header of the ball in either box,
It appears the days when we had Center half's and Center forwards who attracted the ball to their heads like a magnet are gone, now even if they get the ball right on their bonce it's like they have fifty pence piece shaped heads...
Can't remember the last time I saw us score with a good solid header.....

O'grady had 2 headers that centre forwards dream of today - and both attempts were shocking attempts. His overall play was very good and running the channels was good too. Ability to get in front of his defender and then hold off that defender is the best we have seen for a long time - built like a brick shithouse.

The two chances he mistimed is probably due to none match fitness, but it once again shows that we NEED Mcnulty on the pitch - he is the only one in the club that has that extra bit of composure when it is needed.

As of our centre halves - have said it before and will repeat it again - WE CANNOT DEFEND BALLS INTO THE BOX - cost us again today.
Basham and Mceverly may look super comfortable on the ball - not good at all when a centre half is needed to ATTACK the ball when it comes in from the channels. Same as last week v Fleetwood - a pretty standard ball into the box - free header - it keeps happening. Solution to the problem is a centre half in January is an absolute must.

Not seen their goal yet, but someone left a numpty centre forward to plant a free, unchallenged header in to the net.

Our set pieces especially corners are diabolical ,floaty little balls into the box ,so even if we win the header you cant get the power to have a goal attempt.
Does holding one hand up before you take a corner mean Im going to float a soft ball into the box that will be fucking useless ?
What happened to accurate hard corners that Maguire and Collins used to head in ? Waste of time our centre backs going into the box ,and why is Baxter taking them anyway ,his set pieces are shit. We had 2 wingers on the pitch today ,surely they must have better delivery ,when was the last time we scored from a corner ?
