Now we face Sheffield United. It’s a tough place to get a result. We’ve got to be at our best to get the points. I had a short spell there. I’ll expect a few boos if I’m involved.

They normally get a good attendance at Bramall Lane. It’s a big pitch too. The fans are very passionate. We’ve got to try to silence them. I had an email from a Plymouth fan called Les suggesting I should run to the corner flag and box it if I score, so fingers crossed – if I do and I remember, I’m sure I could do that!

My abiding memory of playing United is of going back there soon after I left the club. I got a gash that went down to the bone. The referee told me to play on and get up, and I was looking at my flesh and the bone showing! I never feign injury. It was the first time in my career I’d been taken off on a stretcher but I got a lot of abuse from the Sheffield United fans. So I’m definitely raring for a win!

Typical, just in it for the money, slight graze to the bone and he is whinging, whats he expect from the crowd when they can clearly see he is a malingerer
