He put a couple of good crosses in but didn't impress me much, no better than Hill and we are using up a loan spot that is maybe needed elsewhere.

A decent game, really? I would like to see his ball retention figures. I think we kept possession roughly once when he had the ball. His first touch looked poor and all subsequent touches were equally poor. The amount of times he seemingly shut his eyes and kicked it up (not up the pitch, just up) was extremely frustrating.

I thought he was excellent today, a huge improvement. There were several bouts of head tennis where he was the one player who had the composure to take the ball on his chest and lay it off to a team mate, and his pass for the third goal was superb.

Sometimes I just don't get it Weir puts him straight into a struggling side after signing the day before did anybody expect him to perform come on.
Lot better out wide looks comfortable on the ball.

He's been much better in the last two than on his debut.

That's the first time I've seen him and he must surely be a better full back than wide player. He never once tried to go past a player and my guess is he won't be a Clough's type, what with his luminous boots and foppish haircut as well

The most noticeable thing about him is his boots - you either need bottle or be a very good player to wear those boots - he obviously has bottle !

He has struggled in Div 3 - His boots are ok tho' It's whats in 'em

I was not impressed at all in his games at left back but playing in midfield yesterday I thought that he was much better. My view is to send him back with thanks but with Baxter, Coady and Cuvelier we have ample replacements already on our books that Nigel might bring to their best again.
