I'm not one of the usual moaners on here, at least I don't think I am, but I can't see what all the excitement is about other than the fact this farce is finally over, unless people are just embracing the unknown. We have no clue as to what type of players he will want to sign, what the football will be like, how determined he will be or how loyal he will be if things do go well.

I can say he isn't somebody that fills me with the enthusiasm and excitement that seems to have been aroused in many Blades, but I can also say I am extremely relieved we've finally found somebody willing to take the reigns.

I haven't a clue how it will pan out, but I've already got my season ticket so I will be there hoping for the best.

We're all hoping for the best but getting a guy who was in line for the Everton job is quite a coup.

He will have an easier ride than some quite correctly have not had and will unite the fans.
