Has anyone renewed since Adkins out/Wilder in?

Just convinced myself to get season tickets for me and my two plus one other youngster I bring along. That FUCKING website, I have spent 15 minutes trying to navigate to buy the tickets and all I get is a fucking useless black toned shit website that will not go to ticket sales. Whoever designed it and manages it wants fucking shooting and the management at our club want throwing from the highest point of the stadium for allowing it to continue.

How many people don't bother going to games, one, because trying to but a ticket online saps the life energy or two because you cannot buy a ticket on the day without queuing for a fucking hour in the rain, especially when its raining.

So in answer to the OP, unfortunately, not me.

fucking shit website.

Someone ought to send your post to the club to let them know how you feel and how potentially it could be costing the club support wise as well as financially

Being able to buy tickets quickly and easily online should be an absolute given in this day and age, they need to get it sorted by the sounds of it.

So these players were happy last season under Adkins and were happy to accept new contracts even though they all played like they don't care. They can be as unhappy as they want for me. Any player who is unhappy that that type of player is leaving is putting their own feelings above being professional. Nothing is stopping them asking for a transfer. People want to know why we are where we are now, it's because we sign players like this.

Sometimes in life you have to prioritise what is important.

BrayfordsBeard i couldn't give a fuck if the players are upset and the fuckers can be shown the door like their doley mates, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Great OP. We shouldn't just focus on the two signing but should take into consideration that 17 players are being shown the door. There's real intent at the club now.

There'll be those who just keep putting off the purchase of a season ticket. 'Well I'll just see if Adkins is still here...... Well I'll just wait to see who we're going to keep .......I'll just wait to see who we sign......I'll just give it to the end of the August transfer window......Let's just wait to see how the season starts'.

And so it goes on until .......'Well I'll just wait until we've actually won the Champions League.'

Procrastination personified. Just get down there. Buy and have some faith.
Champions league? Need to start playing better than Sheffield fc to get up from League one. Could be waiting quite a century or more.

Hi mate, I play in league football and have contacts at Sheff Utd to answer other people's questions and from what I believe the players aren't happy, their friends/housemates etc have been bombed off....contracts where put on the table and taken away there's a lot of unrest with the current players
Bring on the unrest. Possibly a majority of fans detest all who played last season. The trash needs unrest. They need running out of the city.

Er.....no.

Your list has to be disclosed to the FL (sorry, EFL). If they'd been made crap offers they would sit on them while they looked round for better. No player would immediately refuse a crap 'security offer' but would wait until he had a better one before turning it down.Your suggestion of them 'deciding to move on' suggests some kind of hippyish footballers playing for their love of the game. They have mortgages and family expenses like the rest of us so get real.

They were released because they were all shit, end of.
Good point but fuck your tone.

Not quite sure what upset you in that. Really not.

I still believe that we won't miss any of them.
"So get real" got my back up... but then I've always been a sensitive so and so.

Barney is right though....a 30 year old winger who for the last half of the season looked poor, a left back who's average at best....best way I could describe him is Andy Taylor. The club could be in real trouble this season, the players we have at the club already aren't happy and unless we get 3 or 4 good players in we are looking more towards relegation.
so a player who made the league one team of the year was poor most of the season
early days but a team needs, like a house a good foundation
CW builders have just got the damp course in and still got 2 floors to erect , before the final topping out
it baffles me how people are so impatient during what is footballs holiday period , personally was surprised we,d signed anyone so early

GOOD! Hope all the players currently in a state of unrest also get bombed off.

I think BrayfordsBeard has yet to realise most of the fans don't give a monkey's chuff about the players left at the club from last season well apart from the few that managed to put a little bit of effort in.

"queuing for a fucking hour in the rain, especially when its raining."

Curious, when else would it rain?

The bit of the website that does my head in is the red text on black background, probably a trivial matter for those with good eyesight, but it renders it unreadable to me under certain lighting. Everyone from teachers to professional advertisers know this is to be avoided.

I realise they are trying to use a red/white/black combination to represent our club, but why not use this site's colour scheme which is easy to read.

Renewed at the first opportunity, it's like a knee jerk reaction.

I great excuse to spend an afternoon in the pub with your mates, why wouldn't you renew?

I popped down to the ticket office to renew cos I can't be arsed to fk about getting frustrated on line

Previously, I have rang the ticket office and renewed over the phone. They aren't exactly busy at the moment

Waiting to see how the team takes shape in full before committing to a season ticket is sensible.

Being put off by the two signings we've made so far is daft.

The least anybody's optimism level should be after the two signings is unchanged. How can Duffy not improve us for example? Thinking he might be past it in 2/3 years has no bearing on whether it'll be worth getting a season ticket next season.
In 2 years time we'll be 170 million notes richer and so could buy any fucker .

To be honest I solved the problem of queuing for tickets with the membership scheme but it is amazing how many people do not know about this. If they didn't charge for it they would probably get a lot more takers as therefore a lot more casual support.

Agree with FreddyP, the main problem is the colour scheme they use. Everything takes an age to load and its crap to scroll through. It is one of the worst websites I use. I am in IT but I do not get involved in website design but I know a crap one when I see one.
