Harry

Unbelievable in it that he played his bloody son instead of Harry , it really wasn't a good move for Harry going to dull , but YET again this fooking club I support , lets a player of Harrys standard at his age go to the Massive club that is Hull city . now that fooking unbelievable !!

Arguably we might be a bigger club than Hull, but unfortunately at that time Hull where a Premiership Club just like Bournemouth are.
Until we get back to the Premiership we are vulnerable for our players to every club in the Premiership regardless of size.
Even if we do get back to the Premiership we would still be vulnerable for our players to at least 6 other sides.

Maybe the likes of Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal, who need a decent centre back might actually take notice of him (instead of signing foreign centre backs who dont actually know how to defend).

Harry is on his way to really big things after his performance this World Cup. Most of us on here (who know good players when they see them) knew this would be the case. Congratulations to him.

With so much press coverage being devoted to Harry I would love one of the newspapers to interview Steve Bruce and ask what was the reason for putting him out on loan to Wigan and then choosing another player coincidentally named Bruce.

Hull City should be suing Bruce for neglect of duty.
Bruce would argue that at the time Maguire was nowhere near being a PL player but training hard with defenders like Dawson and Davies, then going on loan in the championship with Wigan helped him to develop into the player he is.

Another great performance from one of our give-away bargain-basement SUFC premier-league development squad. Power to you Harry - work on your awareness levels, closer marking and more "on yer toes" in our danger areas and your place alongside the likes of Bobby Moore and Franz Beckenbauer ultimately will be assured.

They survive on myth. Thus has it always been and thus shall it ever be.

Someone posted the interview where he categorically states he's a Blade on Twitter to a pig who was saying he supported them. He responded with "he's just saying that to keep you lot happy".

Someone then posted that picture of him with the Blades flag and another pig said "if he's a blade then why does he have a Wednesday tattoo"

And there is born another myth.....

Martin Keown scouted Harry when he was still playing for us and recommended Wenger sign him. That's why Keown has always sang his praises on MOTD last few seasons.
Arsene knows best and paid 15 million for Calum Chambers!

Not trying to be funny here, but is Harry in any way related to William ( Fatty) Foulke ? If you look at any photos of Foulkes when he was younger the similarity between the two are remarkable ...

A Blade taking England to the semis of a world cup in front of Blades fans. Quality.

Will Keane of Manchester United tries to go past Harry Maguire of Sheffield United in the FA Youth Cup final first leg at Bramall Lane.

A Tom Huddlestone-sized 18-year-old centre-half, Maguire is a minor cult figure in South Yorkshire, having dumped Craig Bellamy on his backside three times while making his senior debut against Cardiff in April. Link

Harry looked a colossus that night - up against Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba:

But just to prove very few make it (Man. U's second-leg team):

Six of them are playing professional football, that doesn’t include Morrison. Some of the others may be too but I can’t be bothered to check.

Mad about Harry. Link

Here is a £4million-a-year Premier League footballer who still buys terrace tickets to watch Sheffield United, the home-city team he once played for, and has supported since boyhood. A player whose patriotism (witness his vein-bulging celebration after netting that goal on Saturday) and boyish passion for the game is such that, in 2016, he travelled to France for the European Championships – not as a member of the England team, but as a supporter, with a group of mates.

And there's me thinking he was a lifelong Wednesdayite.

just boarded the plane to beijing...proud to see this...(can’t understand a word though :D)
