I did say in the post directly above yours that I was being facetious. And yes, I do suspect that his options have narrowed somewhat. Wasn't it him who insisted on going out on loan? Might have been better not doing and scoring a few for the u-21s.

I dont have an issue in him going on loan, however he was very well recieved at York and praised them in the media for how great they were to him, however he then requested to be recalled in order to be moved on to Northampton (that to me says "I'm too good for York City") but from his actual contribution to Northampton maybe he wasn't

dont get me wrong when he first burst on the scene a few years back (Coventry Away in the JPT) I was there and he did more in those 10-20 mins than the whole team had done in the previous 70-80, I was expecting big things from him however since his injury and new contract he has from what I can gather shown neither the desire or the ability to go on to better things, and unless he sorts out his attitude he will become another Slew.

Going back to Harry, I don't blame him for what he did just the way he did it.
But ultimately the blame for last seasons failure lays firmly on Clough's shoulders, instead on improving on the season before the team ended up going backwards ...

Let go Sandy....it will only end up in remorse and tear-filled eyes.

I'm not against him going on loan, I just meant that maybe if he'd stayed with us and scored for the u-21s other clubs might be more interested in him. By snubbing York and then not doing well at Northampton he can't have done himself any favours.
I put it down to a kind of panic; all that time in rehab thinking his highly promising career may have gone down the drain, the desperation to get back on track and regain the form he once had, then blaming Clough for not playing him as he seems to have blamed York.

Must be heartbreaking for him. Football's such a harsh world. That's why I don't blame Harry; take your chances when they come, there might not be another one
