We’re with the in-laws in Pensacola Beach, Fla., where it is clear but windy.

We've had one bad bout of snow this month but its just very windy and cold at the moment.

We are in the Ohio Valley area so we get a lot of wind. Last winter was awful so hoping for a milder one here this winter.

Enjoying 3 days off work before I have a couple of weeks of work travel followed by a trip home for Christmas. Washington DC end of next week, Costa Rica the week after and then flight to Manchester via Heathrow the day after I’m back from Costa Rica.

My Mrs just replicated some of the infamous weather innuendo as she asked me this morning "I thought we were going to get 2 or 3 inches this morning".

I wasn't sure for a moment if she was talking about the snow, or was trying to boost my mood by adding an extra inch on for me!

Being full of pigfans , it's probably gone down a bit since I used to visit my grandparents on Fircroft Avenue in the 1960s.
