There's been a few heart tearing threads this year with fellow posters losing their dads.

Can I just indulge myself on behalf of the dads and say how much we (the dads) appreciate our sons following on by supporting the Blades, going to the match with the old man, talking and arguing footy and just making an old guys life worth while.

The time will come when we (the dads) can't be with you so, make time while they are with you just to appreciate how much you being there means to them. When the time comes it will hurt and remembering going to the match as a kid and as a man with your dad will focus the emotion more than anything I can imagine so enjoy what you have together today.

Happy new year all you sons that make match day special to all us dads.
