Thats me............ 6th spot 9 points off the leaders and in general the Blades have been playin below par this season so far.

Things seem to be looking good at BDTBL.

Are you feeling ok BB? :D

We need some goals on Saturday... but I'm fairly satisfied with the way things are looking :)

must be that cold weather blowing up him!

Its not bad considering that the two teams that came down with us from the prem are hovering over relegation :D

Cheekey bugger ...............;)

Cheeky isn't exactly an adjective that could be used to describe me at the minute :)

Freezing might be more apt... I've not managed to get warm since yesterday night.

Managers were on Five Live last night bemoaning the amount of fixtures we've had since the international break (no, it wasn't Laws) and it'll be nice to get through to Christmas continuing to pick up points and with a minimum of injuries and suspensions so we can look at what we need in January.

I don't think we're quite there yet, but we've got potential :)

Keep smiling BB!

EDIT: And here's the league table to have a look at...

Well i remember years when the Blades never started 'playing' until after Christmas and at least on one occasion moved the BDTBL Christmas Party forward by a few months ! :D

Those were the days BB, no credit crunch then, just the crunch of good hard tackles, beer at 10p per pint and bus fares at 2p. Memories eh!

I think another good thing is that our goal difference is decent, due to good defense even though we haven't scored that many goals. Should put us in a good position if we can keep it up!!

So, on Saturday. Will we play 4-3-3 & hope it clicks under a deluge of goals?

or will Blackwell sack it off & go back to 4-4-2??

Either way im going for 3-0 the Blades!

Yeah definitely. We have kept a lot of clean sheets so far this season!

I'm confused!! Has BB commited a Russell Brand-esque faux pas somewhere and he's rapidly trying to win back friends???? Did he decry the French???;)

I think next month will be crucial to shaping how our season goes, we need to win on Saturday. The dingles away is winable but will be tough as they are just hitting a bit of form. Then come Reading not very often we beat them at the lane followed by a trip to Charlton which is a game we should be looking to win. Wolves at home will be a big game as they are flying at the moment. The month ends with a trip to another place where we seldom get anything Ipswich. 15 points from those games would be a great return but Wolves and Reading have to be beaten and to a certain extent Ipswich or we can forget any dreams of automatic promotion.
