I can assure you I’m a Cov supporter and I’ve despised you lot since some of your fans judased and hospitalised a mate of mine in the 2012/13 season

I wouldn’t waste my piss on a stadium full of your supporters if it was on fire

Goodnight

Anyone care to guess where l’m filing this?

Charlton did it immediately at kick off, then that was it.

Coventry did it multiple times. Including blowing random whistles which players kept thinking were ref whistles and invaded the pitch.

It wasn't just a "please support us, we need everybody's support here"... it was an act of disrupting the game.

You literally invaded the pitch at 1-1 in the 85th minute.
Thats why we all think you're cunts. And thats the nicest way to explain it. You tried to get the game abandoned when we were chasing the title.

You'd done your little protest in the first half... the whistles and 2nd invasion changed our support of your fanbase to a "get fucked".

Sky commented multiple times on how unfair it was for them to be whistling as soon as we had possession. At the beginning of the game Blades fans were singing anti Sisu songs and clapping when things were being thrown on the pitch.. Some if our fans were even holding up anti Sisu banners. By half time they'd thoroughly pissed our fans off with their attempt to use the situation to aid their team's chances of a result.

We've had zero issues with any other fans protesting against their owners. Indeed we have quite the history of shit owners ourselves. The mouth breathers who come on here can't work out that they're the problem when it couldn't be more obvious. None have them have posted any evidence of United fans having an issue with any other protest Funny that 😉

Outside of this thread, which is kept going by you and your tragic ilk, none of us could give the smallest of shits about "Frank Lampard's Coventry City." Nothing club, from a nothing shithole city, who's main claim to fame is being bombed by Hitler. Generic middle of the road club, about to have one season in the big time in which you get rinsed week in week out, while the wider football world only pays a small amount of attention cos your manager used to play for England.

Your weird obsession with us recently speaks volumes. You have no real rivals because all the other midlands teams see you as an annoying irrelevance. So you try and conjur up rivalries based on player sales. We took your best player 2 years running in Gus and O'Hare. Now you're getting Gus back, fair enough. He's moving for more money and the chance to warm your bench in the PL.

I bore you no ill will prior to this episode. Genuinely would have wanted you to make a go of it because god knows it would be nice to see a few teams make the jump up and do alright. Sadly the behaviour of your fans on our forum means I now sincerely hope you get spannered week in week out and are relegated by March.

Stick your "CBS arena" up your collective arse. Shouldn't have left Highfield Road. That was a proper ground.

That is Frank James Lampard OBE’s (Twice the manager and twice the bloke than the c*nt occupying your dugout) Title Winning Coventry City to you

Sheffield United last relevant either at the Battle of Bramall Lane or when Iain Hume was hospitalised

Shithouse dirty pathetic little club, with a bellend of a manager and a fanbase full of middle aged toothless grunters who will never see their club win a major trophy in their lifetime
And yet here you are in your first season in the Premier League for a long time, chatting shit on our forum. Bless you. We’re clearly more relevant than you think.

I’ve said it before, it’s a bizarre obsession to try and create a rivalry with a fanbase of a club that really couldn’t give a toss about you.

Enjoy the Premier League, it’s fun that first season when it’s all new and teams take a while to find you out. You may stay up, you may not. But I couldn’t really give a toss.

Presuming Hamer resigns for you, so good luck to him. I like him, want him to stay but if we can cash in now rather than lose him on a free, then ok we take that in our position

Any chance we move this to other football now he's gone and then they cant continue posting after too much Sunny Delight.

None of us have any context to this incident. All fanbases have twats that like to fight.

I'm guessing this was a totally unprovoked attack.
I'm guessing your mate was also a child, woman or disabled person.

Or maybe they had a Hull City scarf on?

And it is a f*ck off to you too

What was the chant you sang to us in 2017? ‘We’ll never play you again’

Here is hoping
I guarantee you now, and you can come back on here by all means if I'm wrong; there is not a chance you'll stay up. Your manager took over an excellent team built by Robins and will be woefully out of his depth in the PL. Your squad is worse by some distance than West Ham and they finished third bottom. I dont see another Wolves situation where a team drops like a stone. I think all three promoted teams will go down this season. Sunderland and Leeds who went up last season as a comparison are huge clubs and Sunderland have a superb manager, you have Lampard.

Enjoy your season in the PL. Personally I have nothing against Coventry as a club. Decent fans as a whole and after what you've been through you deserve a decent run. But your team is nowhere near good enough.

I can fully assure you that if our stadium was full of our supporters and on fire, then a bladder full of your urine would do very little to help our predicament. I'd probably also like to think that if that was the case, then South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue would be on the scene, and your dream scene of our stadium being full of supporters and being on fire would be very unlikely in any case, as it is fully compliant will current building regulations, and will have been assessed and deemed capable of being fully evacuated within a time frame that would mean people are safely evacuated before the fire takes hold.

Blah blah, Coventry is a shitnhole and you have to call it home. I can say that as someone who had family from there that the best thing about them all having passed away is that I never have to go there ever again.

And he has gone.

Not suprised that he has made the move. We signed him in the Premier League on big wages, that are less affordable for us now we aren’t in receipt of parachute payments. It frees up cash for us.

I liked him as a player. He had the skill and confidence to try stuff that most wouldn’t. He was our best player in that abject 23/24 season and was superb in the 24/25 season but last season with a couple of years left on his contract he seemed to down tools a bit, looked a bit off the pace at times and we rarely could get 90 minutes out of him. His best role I thought would have been as CDM but he didn’t ever seem fit enough to do the defensive side of that job.

It’s obvious that he has a real affinity to Coventry City, and that is his club. It was always in the air that they would come in for him this summer. I don’t begrudge him the move and hope it works out for him. I’ll miss him but pragmatic enough to know how football works. I’ve seen players like him come and go. It’s football but it’s nowhere near a patch on how heartbroken I was when my first proper Brian Deane left for Leeds in 1993
