However , he does have the ability to produce something out of nothing and do things others can’t

Always been a conundrum for me. Our run of results came without him in the team last year but he’s a magic player at this level. There’s always been questions over fitness and whether or not he’s been used in the right place in the team but you can’t doubt his talent.

We would lose our best individual player, but as a starting 11, (if we can sign a genuine LM) we look like we make much more sense without him in the formation we look like we are sticking with.

Been expecting him and Peck to leave all summer and slightly surprised it hasn’t happened for either yet. Hamer is our best player by a long way, a joy to watch at his best. But like when any player leaves the key is how we replace him. For me i would like to see a fast direct winger who has the ability to go on the outside of defenders

For the probable transfer fee (admittedly his current wages wont be unsubstantial though) im hoping he stays this season and we give it a go with him as our main playmaker. If someone offers £10m (they wont) then fair enough, you have to listen to that offer, but anything less than say £8m and i hope we turn it down (unless Hamer is actually pushing for the move) and we give it another go with him.

In assets….not in cash in the bank. If he had that much spare cash do you think we’d be about to have a winding up court case, selling Brooks & looking for new investors. It took them long enough to raise the money to buy the club in the first place and satisfy the EFL
