Anyone remember the marriage proposal at half time about 10-15 years ago where the woman did a sexy dance on the pitch and then proposed but the bloke said no?

Then the woman walked off to fans singing 'cheerio cheerio cheerio'

Just explained it to the missus and how hilarious it was but ive only got a vague memory of it. I remember i was sat on the Westfield corner stand so it was after that was built, maybe about 2008.

Best half time entertainment ever

Anyone remember which match it was?

Googled him and pretty sure he played against us today, took the long range effort in first half that deano parried

Funny old world, no idea he played for us
He was one brought in with the Robson Manchester United link. He was ok but always looked bang average, I was surprised at his success.

dead weird i saw him yesterday playing against us and couldnt believe my eyes! 35 and in the EPL, thought he wouldve retired from non league obscurity by now

It happens occasionally, Simon Francis is another one and if you’re a Bolton Wanderers fan, Chris Balham, they can’t believe he’s a Premier League player in 2020. I suppose for each of those there are a lot more John Cofies and
Kyel Reids.

I remember a half time pitch proposal about 30 (??) years ago. The poor sod had to walk down the kop and across the pitch. He had his chin on his chest the whole way and got a chorus of “blow her out, blow her out, etc”. He then said yes, to a huge amount of boos... and then some applause. Then, as we walked back towards the kop, he pretended to dribble a ball towards the goal and hammer one into the net.... and got a great cheer for it.

He thought running around for us was beneath him, so he generally walked back after an attack. Not an uncommon trait with Man U academy loanees.

I’d not employee him to pull the half time pints, but other premier league clubs clearly disagree.

I remember it being embarrassing and obviously fake and then finding out it was for a garbage TV show I had no interest in. I seem to remember her getting some boos early on in the act.
