I know a lot of people have been critical of our pre-season games for a number of years but we seem to be doing OK this year.

Yes I understand the opposition may not be the best but we have the players getting good fitness and winning matches.

Good habits to have I think.

The reserve matches I've seen recently at Belper and Brigg have been excellent football played in the right way, I missed out on the Ireland tour so I can't comment with first hand knowledge.

I just hope that we carry the good pre-season results on into the league.

Yeah i think id agree from what i have heard so far.

Its good that we haven't lost a game yet, so the confidence is there, whilst the players are regaining their fitness.

yes the most important thing is match fitness and the confidence back to the team.

Least we are not playing teams in devon, cornwall etc this year

My confindence for the new season is way too high right now, i might have to re-watch the wigan game in order to bring myself down.

im far too confident for next season and am expecting a shock!
