I would say we are too slow.
How many times do we have a chance to break forward and then double back.
Our passing at times is poor, we pass to a player on the wing and its a fraction behind him so he has to stop to collect the ball instead of taking it in his stride.

I think that sometimes that’s because a pass into the box or a cross isn’t on. Maybe Brewster is more able to find a bit of space so we can deliver balls into him earlier. I was listening to Lineker the other day and he was saying he liked the early ball when there weren’t many players in the box, that if you wait for your teammates to get into the box they bring their markers back with them and then there is much less space to work with.
I think there was some of that yesterday.
