Only word to use!,we were architects of our own demise last night and ten hours on the frustration is hard to take.
The adrenaline was still coursing through my veins ! found it difficult to sleep but managed it in the end about 3.00.
It was a freak result and the players have to use it to spur them on, I imagine to a man sleeping would have Been difficult after that last gasp defeat,(sorry draw fees like a defeat ).
Freak results are rare I class one when a team is 3 up especially going into the last 10 mins .
Are they happening to us more often now in the modern game.
3 games in the last 8 years Swindon 5-5
Wigan 3.-3,last night.
Over the previous 60 years I would say it happened roughly about once in a decade.four spring to mind straight away
Forest away late sixties 3-3.Bristol city Bramall lane promotion season.
Brighton 5-4,winning 3-0 ,losing 4-3 and won 5-4 .
Ipswich winning 3-0 drawing 3-3 and won 4-3.
I may have missed one or two but once a decade previous to this one is about right.
Silent will fill in any gaps ,Silent?.

I'm struggling to remember a game where we were 3 up and didn't win.................................

For me it’s not just the 3-0 up.

It’s the fact that AV were down and out and never looked like scoring in the first 80 minutes.
Henderson hardly had a thing to do for most of the match.
Also we were 3 up with 10 minutes to go. Doubt even an amateur side would be so unprofessional.
What’s wrong with keeping possession and managing the game out?
We need to learn from it and the players need to take out any anger when we play Boro.

Might be huge pressure on the Boro game now, they are beating Leeds and have a game in hand on us.

I’ve been in a foul mood all day, but beat Boro and Reading and it’ll all be forgotten.

Boro is huge now, bigger than it already was.

A win will put the Villa disappointment to bed and we'll be able to sit back and think 4 points is a good return. Lose and it will feel like the wheel nuts have been loosened.
