Berge out with Souza and Harmer coming in would dry a lot of tears imo.

If you write off the Premier league (but hope for 17th as a miracle), it'd be a cracking squad for 24/25 to get back up. Parachute payments would hopefully keep our other key players like Egan and Anel, providing they're happy for another season in the Championship (Anel a doubt) and whether or not any of these new lads have relegation clauses, but for a player below 10m that's unlikely.

At least these two coming in might get a bit of a buzz again and stop fans swinging handbags

Wouldn't read to much into Hamer not playing tonight, he won't, might might be on the bench. Just back from injury and was taken off on Sunday due to tightness in his calf's , just precautionary.
If you get gus for £15m you've had our pants down. He's the best midfielder outside the prem and better than most in there too. 11goals 13 assists last season. If no one gets him during this window the thought round here is he will sign a pre contract with his first (and home club) fyenoord in January. Apparently his Mrs is very keen on returning to Holland.

Appreciate the input on our forum chap. Just because I cba to look into it, have any other clubs been/currently in for him and reasons why they never materialised? I remember him being pretty sought after at the start of the window.

So I'll ask again, was that purely the basis for your assumption on a new injury or did you get that idea from somewhere else? Who "leaked" the injury? No hate. Just still undecided if you have actual sources or not.

The rooftop one aye, but wasn't it mostly known by the fan base they were injured at the time? The marketing team will be well aware of the frustration along the fan base at the moment over Sander. Would be a bizarre move to post that photo with a follow up that he's out for the first half of the season, adding to the panic about this season. Just my opinion.
