you can all say what you want about ''we should have beaten Wigan at home'' or not got thumped by villa.
however the fact is West Ham cheated, end of, and should have been punished properly with a points deducation..

anyways following blades ( from Ireland) since 1993 and that season 02-03 the two semis and whole league campagin,
brought me so much joy I will never forget and just don't get the vile spouted at him.. after us , this season i was hoping cardiff stayed up
only for Neil. ( Aldo wherever Paul Coutts ends up will be my new second team ;-) ) .

You can also add this season to the number of times clubs would have stayed up with the points total we got.

I still maintain that the Villa result was, rather than the tactics on the day, more influenced by the players’ mental breakdown after seeing freefalling Fulham get a result against the Liverpool C team ahead of kickoff. That also translated to the fans – having turned up at the ground optimistic, we were all, as the match kicked off, stunned by that Fulham result. Fulham were at that point appalling, and were so fortunate not to go down. On no occasion did we have the fortune of playing a reserve team when coming up against the (then) top 4.

Brian Clough
Bill Shankly
Herbert Chapman
Don Revie
Alf Ramsey
Jock Stein
Alex Ferguson

Eddie Howe and Sean Dyche have actually kept their teams up and achieved at top 10 finish, even chuffing Steve Bruce has kept a team up in the top league. Better than Warnock.

They also have spent far more money than warnock

Not saying they havevent achieved similar to warnock

But how many managers have done it over and over again

How many times has warnock walked in to a club and completely transformed it even

Isn’t anyone going to mention Bassett?

Missed the English bit

Brian Clough
Herbert Chapman
Don Revie
Alf Ramsey

So you can only find 4 English managers who are better than Colin warnock

Wow Colin’s the 5th best English manager ever and he managed us for 10 years

Must be a blade legend then If he’s the 5th best English manager ever and managed us for so long

Shankly laid the foundations and Paisley reaped the rewards

That's a bit unfair on Paisley imo. Fully agree that Shankly laid the foundations - with BP as his number two - but Paisley won 20 trophies in nine seasons, taking Liverpool to previously unseen heights.

Wilder, Harris and Bassett way ahead of Warnock.

If you asked the Liverpool players who played under both Shanks and Paisley, I am sure most would choose Shanks

My comment was about "reaping the rewards" as if he was a bit player in it all. He was there from the start and continued when he took over, including winning three European Cups.

Name me an English manager who has achieved more than him then

Brian Clough
Dave Bassett
Roy Hodgson
Gareth Southgate
Sam Allerdyce
Glen Hoddle
Chris Hughton

Anyone else who has managed a team in the Premier League or top division and not got them relegated. I could go on.
