The lovely folks at the Guardian asked for the views of fans on how their team had done. Here's the League One review. The comments have been edited a fair old bit.

Thought our bit was accurate.

Bolton fan given it the "oh poor us thing again" annoyed me, they still got players on very big wages and Scunny/Fleetwood claiming to have small budgets when they didn't in comparison to most.

I was a bit baffled by the Southend report . ..."A common problem this season was the conceding of silly late goals, notably against Sheffield United. Had that goal not gone in, we would have been in the play-offs"

Cheers for that, shorehamview. Really interesting, always, to hear informed comment from the people who actually go to games and have something authentic invested in football clubs (as opposed to local media who too often self-censor to avoid biting the hand that feeds, and national media who often don't have a clue--especially about the lower leagues).

And while we're on the subject of biting hands that feed, I'll admit to being dismayed at this snippet from the Chesterfield report:

Owner Dave Allen has pulled the plug ... This season we’ve seen ... local pie suppliers Jacksons having their contract terminated to save cash.

Chesterfield's has been our Away Pie of the Season for yonks. Dave Allen--still a massive twat, after all these years
