Solar panels and an extension on shoreham end to allow for a food hall and local breweries providing the liquids. Quite like those ideas. Generate income all year round.

Unsure how much energy could be generated using footprint of the roof combined with solar panels? I’ll leave that for someone else more knowledgeable on here.

Obviously a few solar panels and a food hall won’t make millions, but with the new rules, being creative how you save, invest and generate money may become an advantage in the future of many clubs.

Im looking for help. the below picture of the supposed redevelopment of BDTBL, Can anyone add a second tier to the John Street stand, so it looks like the South stand. please

I always thought the interesting thing with McCabe plan for the kop was that he intended on building on top of the existing one.

Which would mean the existing stairs on each side look to remain. Build a roof and enclosure over the top and add 3-4k in seats. How much more facilities inside would be added remains to be seen. It was a cheaper way to do it.

To be honest if it happened at the time we bid for the world cup I think we would like it. The visuals from inside make it look like a nice big home end.
But now things have changed a bit, those plans would need revising to add more facilities.

We might do a new kop roof someday soon but anything bigger will have to wait till we have consistent PL football. Or owners with much deeper pockets.

Nope. It's a pipe-dream.
Most folk at the Lane are there to watch the football.
And there's plenty of room for newbies in the BLUT , so no pressing need for extra capacity.
We have an iconic ground which we keep in decent nick.
Focus on what the owners ought to know is our only way to survive.
Developing and selling players at a profit to richer clubs.
But only once they've contributed for a reasonable period on the pitch.
That means intelligent recruitment and good coaching.
Not chewing our way through half a £billion and ending up borassic.

What about them? MH isn't 'just' a male issue, and we still have Maddy's inquest going through and yet to conclude/ report.

Mate, it’s a good thing. Why look for a negative? As you say 75% of suicides are males. United can’t make the world right but this is them doing a little bit to try and help.

Not looking for a negative. It's a personal view based on experience. Connected to two female suicides, and whilst the amount of social media hoovered up by AMC is appropriate in terms of the numbers, it leaves gaps behind it too, that those involved feel. I do a lot with both men and women suffering with MH issues.
If it helps - brilliant, and it should/ will, anything that saves lives is fabulous, but there is a bigger picture too, where the 25% stat female suicides often is missed. That's all.
Like I said, I'm just being honest.

The work has been ongoing over the summer ,with steel painting and structural strengthening around the ground ,something must have flagged up on the blut and needed to be done ,well done blades for taking fan safety seriously.utb

best view in the ground but zero atmosphere weve 3/4k seats empty every game in the other 3 stands and only usually about 1k home fans up there most home games dont see the rush
