They are doing rather more than that. Some clubs have/have had owners who have failed to keep the ground updated !
The improvements to overall training facilities are to be welcomed also.
If someone is doing their job well, even at a basic level, they are worthy of praise.
I don't think they're doing their jobs well on any level. A few flashing lights don't change that.

What an utterly weird take that is.

There's plenty to attack the owners for but the ground is probably at the bottom of the list quite frankly 🤷‍♂️ .
Yeah, exactly. A minor inconvenience for a few fans for a limited number of games to make improvements to the ground, which, in fairness to COH, they've done since they arrived. Infrastructure wise, they've made sure they're on top of things.

This is a positive and i've said i'm not a fan of COH generally for a number of reasons. Credit where its due, they're making sure the ground is in good nick.

I agree keeping toilets and basic housekeeping is good ; don’t want another rust bucket in sheffield

I'd also go as far as saying the lack of major work on the kop suggests they'll do the minimum for now as they have bigger plans for it. Why spend on the worst part of the ground when it's going to get "properly" sorted out at some point?

Very true, the Kop is definitely being excluded from upgrades on the concourse side, although they added the standing areas.

That said, its probably been 30 years since the Kop had any concourse upgrades, the last one being the roof on the kop bogs :D

best view at the lane imo but zero atmosphere up there every time ive been in possibly because its never much more than 50% full i would prefer our fans to fill the other 3 stands which imo would certainly increase the atmosphere

Gemini completely ignored my whole "in keeping with the rest of the stadium" instruction but I wouldn't be totally against it

The KOP replaced with offices, that would be an interesting move to keep people sat down.

Not sure the KOP regulars would want an office chair to be honest.

What they have done to the infrastructure is rather more than a few flashing lights.
Maybe we are all unaware of what is happening. Their track record in recruitment appears poor, but let’s see how they cope with the new financial regulations and their effect on recruiting.
I think some have unrealistic expectations of what these owners should be doing. If they keep us financially sound and competitive in the Championship then they are doing their job. Anything more is a bonus.

Do you think that represents the limit of their ambition for a spend of over 100 million?

I dont think we're unaware of what's happening they're just giving us a few shiny things while not even being able to pay what they owe for the club.

Recruitment was absolutely pathetic and in the 18 months they've been here they've given our manager 2 contract extensions, sacked him and appointed him. If we are competitive next season it's despite them not because of them.

That is certainly one view !
