Having the Sheffield 10K run on the Sunday will also have added to the congestion, causing all the Stud's to arrive on Satdi. and all the shoppers wanting to avoid the road closures going shopping on Satdi.

As no one with any authority seems to have any capability to organise this I suspect we will have to wait for someone to produce an App before we see any progress.

Funny you mention him, I saw him Saturday afternoon on my way to Meadowhall, he was on the A6178 just outside of TGI Friday's. It was gridlock up there too thanks to traffic from Ikea, Meadowhall and the Arctic Monkeys gig at the Arena. Pulled up along side of me in "his" jag, he was sat in the back playing on his phone, his driver didn't look too impressed.

So to answer your question, he's still out and about doing whatever it is he does.

Seeing as most of us are complaining about the roads when we drove a few miles to BDTBL, we can hardly have a go at parents dropping their kids off, a few hundred miles from home, with months worth of luggage!
I'll be dropping mine off when he goes away next year, and we are no Tarquins. I'd be a pit pissed off if some local started having a pop about it.
They've chosen this fabulous city, because they like it. We have the largest number of students choosing to stay in the city than any other, after they finish too, because they like the city and us. Hopefully be a good number of future Blades amongst them too.
