Looked solid, decent enough going forward and the game never looked in doubt after going 1-0 up. Bristol City were atrocious. Should give us some momentum for some of the 'harder' teams we've got to play in the next few games and at least puts us 3 points clear of the drop with 2 games in hand on everyone but Crawley (and Stevenage who are nearly gone).

I thought that we'd have had a few against us, but we've probably got that pleasure to come.

What can I add to what's been written? A very solid performance, it made me think what we would have done with quality forwards waiting to pounce. No complaints though, only one side in it, the mighty Blades.

Murphy skinned his fullback regularly and was a constant threat. Our defence was not going to give them a look in, although Brizzle were poor. I thought each man did their part today, nice to see we've found a keeper who instils confidence too. Mustn't forget to give props to Doyle. Thought his contribution was good throughout and should get the applause he deserves.

We're beginning to pull away from the crap end of this division, no complacency, but we're looking good and at times playing decent football too. UTB

Good performances all over the pitch today. Murphy and Coady stood out for me and Doyle did a very effective, yet probably unnoticed job on Emmanuel-Thomas.

Very pleasing performance and result, hopefully we can build on this little run and start looking above us.

That was the best performance of the season. Everyone at 7 or 8 out of 10 except Baxter who was probably 5.

The most pleasing part of today is how you can see the team is beginning to gel together after months of disjointed performances. Yes, there was the odd pass that was over hit but they were the right passes to players making good movement off the ball.

Brilliant performance. Assured and exciting.

Apparently their memo about the big match had a typo in it so they all turned up a week late.

Thought the first half was boring for the most part but we were by far the better side. Probably the easiest game we'll have all season. We did play well but Bristol were absolutely abysmal. Murphy & Flynn were brilliant. We won't have a better opportunity to put 4,5 or 6 past a team than we did today.

...'Bristol were abysmal' but a lot of fans feared the worst with this one. They've got some supposedly decent players ( JET) going to rip Harry/Collins a new one etc...

I just hope this kind of professionalism/ performance is a sign of things to come under Nigel and we can continue making the oppo look very average and picking up the points.
