What a great end to the year.

A superb performance with a big credit to all the players on the pitch.

Up The Blades!

:D :D :D

Yes and we did it without alan wright. :)

What a great match cant really fault anyone tonight a complete team porformance.

Great game today, we deserved the win so much.

That goal that was 'offside' should have been allowed for us. It was close, but he wasn't offside.

Well done to Jags too on another great goalkeeping performance:p

that goal we scored was a 50/50 decision i thought. It was very close, i personally wouldn't have given offside but so would nearly every other sheffield united fan.

To me Nade didn't start making a move to go after the ball until Toure was infront of him.

Did anyone see the Ronaldo goal that looked more offside than Nade's? Sky pundits said the Man U goal wasn't offside so can't see why our was. Suppose some linos give them and some don't.

One of the all-time classic nights as a Blade yesterday. We're at our best with our backs to the wall - players ill and injured, PAddy going off, that's the sort of game that brings the best out of a team like ours. For once, every player stepped up to the mark from start to finish. Monty made one of the tackles of the season, Morgs and Davis (with the flu!) won every header, Nade was strong enough to shrug off an international central defender and beat a top keeper, a finger-tip save from Jags....

Performance of the season, and what an atmosphere! As good as anything since the play-off semi, there's something about a floodlit game at the Lane with us as the underdogs which makes things special. Contrast that with the Emirates when the Arse fans hardly made a noise even after 3 goals. Nights like that are why, even if we never won anything in my lifetime, I'd never want to be anything but a Blade. ;)

have I been dreaming, what a night to remember, didnt even mind the Lion being full since you 'hardy' people wouldn't stand outside in the rain!

the second goal was not offside. nade was slightly ahead of toure but if you look further across the pitch, senderos was playing him onside as he was stood nearer to the goal.
