Sheffield United chairman Kevin McCabe wants to bring former England manager Graham Taylor to Bramall Lane.
Taylor could return to the game with the Blades where McCabe has indicated his No.1 priority is to employ a 'head of football' at the Championship outfit.
"He'd be top of my list," McCabe told the Daily Mail. "He'd be diplomatic, he wouldn't step on toes and he has great knowledge.
"We're looking for a younger Sir Bobby Robson."
At 63, Taylor has previously hinted at a move back into football, and the role of working closely with manager Kevin Blackwell could be the perfect route back into the game for the former England boss.
McCabe has also confirmed that Bramall Lane's PLC have been in talks with an American sporting and media company directed by the leader singer of U2 - Bono.
McCabe said: "Bono is a director of one the companies we've spoken to.
"We're not talking to him as an individual but to a company with whom he is associated."
"But I still haven't found what I'm looking for!"
