Gracious and still proud

After the whitewash of what seems to have been the worst season to be a blade in my supporting lifetime,ive had my face on,had my fed up couple of hours-but you know what,i still cant get over the optimism of the blades fans and there dying passion of our great club.
Weve been relegated but,because weve been expecting it since december,it doesnt feel half as bad as i thought it would.
After reading the statement released by our heirachy,i still dont trust the twats as far as i could fart them,but the fans during,and after the game were something special-i still feel full of pride to be a blade when weve had a season to forget.
If it still feels raw to some of you,dont fret-if we keep the youth whats emerging into the team at the moment then theres some exciting times that will return to our fantastic stadium-keep the faith-keep a smile on yer face.it could be worse,we could be blue and white.

Today was a day to be proud to be a Blade.

The fans were loud and dignified and the faces were smiling in Bar 27 afterwards. What a way to conduct ourselves.

He seems to have been elevated and elevated all summer, heard some ridiculous comments at Sandy Lane about him.

He's got potential, but he's currently nowhere near what people seem to think. Has a lot to learn.

Teading through todays threads and for the firat time i a long while there does seem to be more optimism around. Slew's signiture is a good one and as said a good advert for the others coming thru. Two latest signings seem to have promise.
