I’m delighted to accept the originator meant it as a joke. Sadly there will be many others whose football philosophies are rather less sophisticated who didn’t think it a joke, inwardly cheered and thought ‘spot-on’.

I do admire your pictorial description of the Bassett/Blackwell ‘style’ though.

I don’t have a long history as my first game was only in 1990’s .....

Regardless of the league, highs are highs and lows are lows but It is absolutely f***** fantastic what we have at the minute and im well happy to be here to witness it week in week out.

Seems an age away since I was sat on the Kop waiting for the full time whistle under David Weir, Mickey Adams, Nigel Adkins.

The lads have worked their socks off to get where they are and deserve every bit of credit but when you look at the bigger picture and not just football Chris Wilder has well and truly shuffled the pack and turned the club around. LEGEND
