It's already a past tense thing.

We've not payed up. The EFL have given us time to sort it. We haven't. They placed us under a transfer embargo.

If it now gets paid fairly quickly, that will be a positive, but doesn't undo the negatives.

I’m delighted that an important player , who’s said he’s happy playing here and will consider his options in the summer , Berge is staying to push us on ,

I'm going off the embargo and Hecky's interviews, in which he sounds very pissed off at how the club is being handled.

We've weakened the squad, not had the training facilities sorted and been placed under an embargo. I'm not shoes off yet, but surely you're disappointed?

Everyone’s worries about the takeover and financial difficulties should be at ease now. If things (takeover/embargo) weren’t progressing we’d have sold our best players to the highest bidder.
It appears to me that an agreement has been reached between our current and new owner. And anyone doubting the new owner’s intentions or the Prince’s for that matter (lining his pockets??) can rest assured that promotion is the goal.

It probably did help that a fair chunk of our squad had relegation clauses that reduced their wages.

Very happy when sky just mentioned it. I know he’s not been on it for a few weeks but hopefully he’ll improve now transfer window done. Some of those opposing fans on Twitter getting excited about a 6’5” giant at set pieces joining them will be disappointed! One was even saying he can play CB!

Tbf unless a team plays 4-2-3-1 and has a need for a new right-side of the double pivot, I'm not surprised he's not seen as being worth £25m to anyone at the moment.

If he still wants to eventually move on regardless of whether Utd get up, his best option would be to play himself into form for remainder of the season and attract attention over summer - when he'll hopefully be worth £35m again!

Yes and I agree with all of your points, we should be strengthening with 2 quality loans minimum to push us over or provide cover... The points buffer might have negated it a little, but it's unusual not to strengthen in our position.

As for fans being happy, I think the difference is the quality of player we have in the team, we've never gone up* with as many quality players all over the pitch... Players that were legends a few years ago can't get anywhere near the starting 11, with RND to return and Lowe coming back, plus we didn't sell the crown jewels, it's something special in the championship this first team and bench..

We still have the backbone of the last promotion team, adding ndyie, Berge, bogle, Lowe, Anel, Mcburnie, RND and Jebbeson to that, anybody would be happy wouldn't they...

23M brewster is the biggest loss, this, was his season..

Ps, I can see why some opposition teams moan about us a little reading that back what I just wrote.
