Well I meant he assisted it in that he provided the power, but on my fantasy football app it'd be down as an assist, don't know if anyone else tracks it as such.

Watched the match, McGoldrick’s all round game and link play was excellent (typical McGoldrick) earning him a consecutive man of the match.
But he doesn’t look like a natural centre forward, although the Ireland manager seems to really like McGoldrick.

When he gets the ball, his awareness is great but his first thought seems to be can he pass it someone in a better position.
Whereas someone like Billy Sharp is focussed on scoring, his first instinct is to shoot, even when there are team mates around him.

Didzy played well but Robinson looked the best player on the pitch to me.

Also, did anyone else notice the keeper for Gibraltar kick it in to touch from almost every goal kick? And he had a lot of them.

Robinson was very good yeah, took him a while to get into it but second half he was excellent. Some great skill out wide.

Gibraltar keeper was awful, as you say kicked it out 9 times out of 10 and flapped at every ball anywhere near him and didn't get back in position after missing a cross, as though he was waiting for it to go back to the corner so he could have another go.

Thought ROI looked good tonight, weak points for me were Hendrick and Coleman, Coleman has no end product whatsoever, makes Baldock look like Trent Alexander Arnold, Hendrick just won't get the ball out of his feet quick enough. Definitely better to watch than they were under O'Neill, though the results are similar.

Would be nice to see Egan get a go.

I just assume Keogh must be a real leader and a phenomenal personality in the dressing room and behind the scenes as managers always seem to pick him. I can’t think of another reason.
