One thing I've often thought that we are poor at is getting players in the box when we attack, especially players arriving late which is difficult to defend against.
When we scored we actually had six men in their box. Did this just happen when they gave the ball away or were we trying to get more men forward to support Campbell at that stage of the game.

I like the observation.
I've been accused a lot of "cap doffing" to Leeds, but it's because I've been so impressed when watching them.

Not dissimilar to the Wilder team of old, they attack and defend in numbers.
Their right back can cross for their left back to score at the back post, and there'll be a handful more waiting in the middle.

I don't think we have the fitness to play that way over 90 minutes, but I think we could take more risks in games and spring into action more often and overwhelm teams.

I don't think we should always rely on the cagey approach, with a sucker punch goal and then cling on.
It's worked, but I think this team is capable of far more in most of our games.

The stakes are too high to be more expansive. Ironically, perhaps if we were chasing the top two we would be more aggressive, we'd have to be, but as it is the conservative / tried & trusted plan A is the option. Whichever league we are in next year, I agree, that we should be bolder. In the PL one goal will rarely suffice and in the Championship, we know what we're facing. More bodies in the opposition's box is a must for me. As you state, that was what stood us apart last time. It wasn't reckless but organised offensive play.

Agree. I think this is where the frustration of this season lies with me...we clearly are capable of that type of football but choose not to as the norm, whether that's down to lack of fitness who knows?

I've not watched Leeds much other than when we have played them, but when they equalised at the Lane, was it Firpo, I thought that was the type of goal that we don't score.
Does it just come down to fitness levels? Or do we just lack the players with the ability to be in the right place at the right time.
There is then the problem that if Campbell's cross had been cut out we would have been open to the counter attack, although I still don't think they would have scored.

...and look at the ground Bannan has lost on Peck! He was just inside him when Peck played the ball down the line to Campbell!
