Think it's at the point now where it must be affecting him mentally in front of goal. Every time he hits it he's expecting a miss, a save, a block, or even if it goes in for it to be disallowed.

Who put the ball in the Wednesday net...?

As one striker ends a seven-month goal drought, another makes his debut on this list thanks to a disallowed goal and a missed sitter. Thought Ings was a touch unlucky yesterday, personally, and we definitely look better with two up top.

Ahhh, this is a sweet update. State of play post-Pompey:

Peck finally off the mark, and Gus gets his first of the season to leave mostly bit-part players and defenders on the list.

Ings the only regular starting striker on a dry spell now, but he's starting to feel like he's going to stay onside one of these days.

Meanwhile Soumaré's late cameo nudges him over the line to 10 goalless appearances (if you're thinking he scored against Blackburn, that one was given as an OG).

Happy days. Femi to take the next pen, anyone...?

Bullet header from Tanganga for the penalty. 9 times out of 10 he's off the list.

Yeah, he's come close a few times now. He's got a goal coming.

I know some previous versions of this thread haven't included defenders, but I think it's reasonable to expect your CBs to pop up with a few here and there. It seems a bit freakish that we're almost into December without any goals from CBs

We've had some nice set piece routines recently I've thought. 2x goals from corners last night, 1x goal against Coventry. Some good opportunities worked against Wednesday and last night as well that we might have done better with.

3 more points, 3 more goals... nobody onto or off this list this morning though.

There's lies, damned lies and statistics: while this is a great piece of work it doesn't tell the whole story. To add some context (stats from transfermarkt):

Only four players have played more than 10 games without scoring for us. Oné, in particular, is nowhere near as bad as the appearance stat would suggest as most of his appearances for us have been final-10 cameos.

An eloquent offer to run this thread next season and you're very welcome to it 😆

O'Hares goal at Leicester i thought but keep seeing Reidewald's name? Any confirmation?
Sky gave it as Riedewald and this seems to be the official call. Took a deflection off him apparently, even though I can't see it on any of the replay angles.

It definitely looked like it spun off Riederwald. However, Riederwald reacted by sprinting straight to O’Hare to congratulate him - not a sign that he thought it was his own.

Oh what fun it is to knock another couple of names off the list. And I was just talking the other day about how weird it was that we hadn't had any goals from CBs yet

A frustrating watch but a couple of positives: Now that Ings has successfully found the proverbial barn door at umpteenth time of asking, that means that all our senior strikers are safely off the dry-spell list; and it's actually kind of nice to finally welcome Arblaster to the list as at least he's playing again 🎉

Bah. Tanganga is our new league leader and Jairo is now on the list, given the evidence that his goal got taken off him and given to O'Hare.

Currently one appearance away from a return to the list are Harrison Burrows and Andre Brooks.

Welcome back to the list, Burrows and Brooks. Christ, we've crammed a lot of games into the last 2 months haven't we.
