...Let's not have another "after The Lord Mayors show" performance please, I hope Clough has got them in for nothing more than light warm downs today and tomorrow but then a straight forward to the point speech about how important the League games are.

I hope he says anyone not putting it in in the League will not even make the squad for the quarter final.

The next thing on Nigel's to do list is to fix our league away form.

If he does that he will complete a mammoth turnaround from the disaster that Weir left.

If we can win on Wednesday, things will look much brighter league-wise.

Next 3 league fixtures are so, so important. Gills away is something we should and could get a result from. I'd take a draw, but we need a win. it's one of our games in hand, after all. A free chance to climb up a few places. Bristol at home is simple. We must win. No discussion. Colchester away is another game in hand, and another must win. 7 points at least, please.

All Cloughie needs to tell the players is that if they beat Gillingham, we'll be playiing the Pigs next time round

It worked yesterday.

Anyone off here going by the way?

I think he'll make a couple of changes to freshen things up. I certainly think McGinn will start and push Scougall behind Paynter or Porter . Players to miss out ? Baxter? Flynn ?

7 points will do for me fella

I'd like to see Paynter given another start. That said, I think he'll start Porter - which is fair enough, considering he'll be high on confidence after Sunday. I'd go for;

Howard

Brayford Coll 'Arry Bob
Doyle
Flynn McGinn Murphy
Scoogs

Porter (or Paynter)

It's simple now tell the players they are playing for there quarter final places in each game before that one.

It's a ten minute drive from me, so we are having a bit of a family outing. Me, my son and the other half...
