We got Fathi in Jan and our star striker broke his leg in March. The two events were not connected.
He blew it for me when he sold micheal brown and didn't replace him with Lionel messi

Really? Like Kendall? Spackman? Bruce? Heath? Robson? Blackwell? Speed? Adams?

I believe Spackman woiuld have had the rug not been pulled from under his feet. If the board had held their nerve and waited until the end of the season before beginning the fire sale I think we'd have gone up.

That's quite a good summary of Warnock's tenure at United and at QPR too with regard to signings. Some have been brilliant and very inspired - Brown, Kenny, Shipperley and others - while some were strange and some just downright bizarre. He also managed to sign players and then very quickly fall out with them - Cullip, Hayles, Horsefield.

Shoreham, that could apply to any manager. Carroll? Torres? It's the nature of transfers - some work, some don't.

Put it this way. When (not if), when Smegson is booted out next season, when it's clear his mind-numbing, Stoke-lite 'tactics' aren't working against better teams in the Championship, who would be happy if NW got the job at Hillsborough? I know I wouldn't.

It's all opinions, but maybe the last word should go to the man himself. When interviewed after his sacking at QPR, he said:

'I take full responsibility for where we are. We're in the Premier League.'

Says it all, really.

(Shelton) He looked shit hot against Man U away. Then looked like it was the first time he'd ever been on a football pitch at Charlton away. I have never seen such contrasting performances. Sadly after the man u game I'd put him in my fantasy team, a sure fire way to destroy anyone's form.

It is my belief the January transfer window in the premiership started a cataclysmic fall into the thier tier of English football. Ahmed bastard Fathi, why?

i dont think its coincedence that at every club NW has managed he has fell out with the chairman/directors and owners some where down the line,QPR have given themselves a fighting chance of staying up by getting rid of him,its quite obvious he could not attract the quality players because of his attitude, having seen his recruitments prior to the start of the premier league season, united should have done the same and got rid of him.
