A poor performance today, unsurprisingly without Fleck, Coutts and Duffy the midfield is a lot weaker and the second half was as poor as I have seen for over a year.
But to hear the glee in the voices of the 'Moaners' as they realise they can gripe about something now is too much to take!
Two pearls of wisdom from the 'fan' near me today:
'Fuck off Lundstram', when Stevens sliced a cross out from a good position; and
'These are the teams we should be beating three or four nil'. Sorry, how can anyone who follows championship football think that about a game at Preston? Deluded.

The Lundstram haters do my head in. He's just signed from the lower leagues, as cover, and he's been improving. Not the best today, but that can be said for everyone.Give the lad a bloody chance.

Yet he appears to be the antichrist to some. Idiots.
tbf he's had a few games now and shown nothing. Carruthers i have given up with. Stearman always loses. there is always some guff on here about 'scapegoats' .. we haven't had any recently because players were showing they were worth a place. i don't think these clowns are up to the job and the pelters will get worse unless they make a dramatic improvement

It's dead simple. Any of the players covering would be alright to get by a few games with. We've won without any one of our best players. What you can't expect is that a newly promoted side can lose its three best players, all midfielders, and some of its better cover in Brooks, and still go to a side like Preston and expect to play as well as we'd like. We've still got Freeman out and Baldock, decent as he's been, still hasn't had a proper run of games to get to his best. Basham has had to move all over the park to help us out.

It's not bad management. It's not lack of effort on the players' part. It's not the fans. It's not a lack of ambition. We've gone from looking like one of the best sides in the Championship to a mediocre one because we've got lost key players.

It was poor today. We didn't look like scoring, didn't hold the ball well enough, and looked to slow and uncreative. And yet Preston haven't exactly battered us. Scored an okay goal and saw the game out from there, but they were average and any one of Duffy, Coutts, or Fleck, or even Brooks could've made a huge difference today.

I'm gutted because I was starting to believe we could really do something special this year, and that's not gone yet if we recover in January, but expecting that a newly promoted team's second string midfield would be play-off standard is pure fantasy stuff. I get looking for something to blame out of frustration but right now I think begrudgingly accepting the state of affairs is all we can do.

Brian the, well claims to be a Blade on RS now - FFS, he'll be trying for his Wilder out protest in the car park next week.

Please someone put him out of his misery, take him to the vet's on a one way trip.
