I just cant believe some of the negativity on here and in general over the last day or two. Its only a matter of days since we were looking nailed on for promotion apart from the difficult February coming up...now stand back and look , we are on fifty seven points , which is a point in front of the average needed to achieve promotion. We have had a minor blip..we lost a game and then drawn one, if the gods had offered this position last august I for one would have snapped their hand off

the good point is the most upset blade about getting 1 point from 2 games is Chris Wilder
I expect a real esponse on Tuesday , or some will feel the wrath of a very angry blade and a place on the bench sooner than they expected

On my way home after the match I was thinking to myself... I'm going to end up starting a 'get a grip' thread at some point this weekend. :)

Rumours of our demise are very premature, however conceding 8 goals in 3 games is not what promotion candidates do, so we need to be sorting that out. Whether that means a return for Mr Wright, I don't know, but I trust in CW and AK to get it sorted.

Tbf it was a very entertaining game (we are a very entertaining team). And we did inch a further point ahead.

Suppose the mini-wobble we're collectively having is all part of the entirely unusual/unexpected experience of being top of the league.

Onto Tuesday. Sort of remember Jake Wright's first game for us, against Oxford, when it was pretty critical we get a win (& we did). A bit of a similar type situation now - just to steady the ship like.

Gods have hands? Sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

There are no Gods, certainly not of the football variety at least. Sick to death of that term cropping up all the time. You stand or fall on your own merit.

Agree with OP, back in 2006 we had a massive wobble in March , one point from a snowy home game against Crewe if I remember rightly , what a dreadful game that was !!

I have faith in CW , I don't think it will be pretty but hoping for a solid 1-0 on Tuesday ! To get us back on the road ,
