I really like George Saville. We were linked with him a couple of years ago, maybe as Sander cover. He must me in his 30s though now. Id have him on a free as competition for Arblaster, but I've no idea what his contract is like.

Availability seems a strength, 40ish games most seasons, so may be a useful back up midfielder. Out of contract.

I wouldn't mind him as a Souza replacement

Calm down. What I mean is that I don't want a Souza replacement. I don't want a dedicated ball winner in midfield who starts every game. I want one as a rotation option, for certain games. In which case Saville would be OK

But I'd prefer Sam Field from QPR. Also left footed but younger, taller and captain material. More capable of forming a ball playing partnership than Souza. If Dunne is also signing from QPR that would be another positive factor
