Agree 110%. Commented to the bloke next to me tonight how amazing it is that our 2nd top scorer from last season is out injured, but Lord Wilder has managed, on a budget, to bring in a replacement who is at least as good! Competition for shirts will drive us on to higher and higher levels.

Classy player too, doesn't seem phased at all, I feel bad saying it after last season but I think I'd pick him over Freeman regardless of injuries at the moment.

He looks very good but there's clearly more to come from him. Look at Stevens, he's getting better and better and made a quality assist today. I reckon when Baldock plays a bit longer in the side he'll progress further just like Stevens. Thought Laffs did OK when he came on today, he' s no slouch.

I felt tonight was an off game for baldock. I rate him highly but tonight he was ordinary. He just didn't link up at all well but we won so it doesn't matter utb!

Admired him for three years at MK. I think there's much more to come from him.

Really impressed with this kid. He seems to have slipped under the radar in all the euphoria of our recent results, but I think he’s been excellent. A top acquisition who’s gong to get even better.
Credit where its due, after Bolton there were aspects of his game that didn't meet the levels of Freeman, however, the last two games he's been fantastic, very composed, uses the ball well and gets up and down the wings well.

He slots into the back 4 very well, probably grateful for a rest after 60 mins!

One aspect of his game i still don't like is his theatrics and little tantrums. He needs to stamp it out as its not what we have come to expect from a Wilder side. Yeah at Bolton he won a freekick, but did he really need to do a premier league roll on the floor.

Last night he played for a free-kick (won't say dived as i only saw it once) and didn't get it, instead he banged the floor like a little child and got a booking. I work with Italians and see this behaviour every day, i don't need to see this nonsense from Blades players. Stop being a fanny and get on with the game, regardless of decisions.

I don't want this to overshadow his performances though

Fantastic start to whar I suspect could be a successful career at the Lane. His pace is unbelievable, the biggest difference between him and Freeman is that Baldock always seems able to get back and get a challenge in.

Watching the highlights, towards the end of the game Brooks receives the ball on the edge of the penalty area and holds onto it, seemingly with no outlet to pass to.

Then into view comes Baldock absolutely steaming down the outside to receive and lay it across for Duffy to nearly score.

Very impressive.

Yep, I think that’s the way a lot of us think regarding Freeman and why Baldock hasn’t had much of a mention, but at the end of the day based on the last two games I fully agree. He looks a class act and deserves the shirt.

If Freeman gets back in at any stage he’ll know that he’s going to have to up his game and maintain it so it’s good news all around.

There was one moment in the 1st half when Wolves had a breakaway down our left and George ran the width of the pitch and without breaking stride took the ball as clean as a whistle.

PS. Sorry Raimond , great minds eh.

Yeah another great CW "steal". How much did we pay for him? Bet not more than £400k. How much is he worth now? Not that we will be selling but just shows how good Mitchell, CW, AK are in the transfer market. Let's hope they get a decent budget in the JTW and can get some more Baldocks.

He's confident in his ability and a bit cocky with it, not bad traits for a footballer...

He's a good player and he is quick. Would like to see him take a player on a bit more though when he is one on one , something for Wilder and knill to work on!
