Thanks, that is the plan for the route, I haven't looked at the elevation... The approach to Sheffield from the south is flat... right...?!

I won't be doing it on match day (I want to be able to enjoy the match and not have that time pressure!) , but ideally if our first game is at home on the Saturday, do the ride on the friday. If we have the friday night match, I might do the ride on the Thursday.

Really not after credit on this, I just felt quite strongly that us as fans needed an opportunity to show our support to the foundation, and our appreciation of George and his legacy. not a religious man but on my ride at the weekend, the two hardest bits of the route, Starman came on my Spotify playlist, both times.

Just a suggestion, it might be worth contacting the blade who rides his bike to a load of away matches. He may be able to help with the planning etc.

Any suggestions on songs to listen to whilst training would be good. Even put on the Youtube video of Egan and George singing "Allez, Allez, Allez", the other day.

They're too thick to have a flat atmosphere. They are so stupid, they are always celebrating because "everything's great, innit, mate!" When it goes quiet, it's because they're concentrating on reading the scoreboard.

That's fair - I did see a lot of them had to take their shoes and socks off so they could understand how big a number -15 was when that stupid countdown appeared...
