When tickets go on general sale on Monday, what time do u think people should get there for to garantee tickets? Would it be better to apply by post?

I would say as early as you can afford to be. If people on the first day were camping out from 3am... and these people were guaranteed tickets... then you have an idea what general sale is going to be like.

I would assume that the club will make an announcement about how many tickets are going to be made available before they go on general sale.

What I would say about sleeping outside the Lane is... go in pairs if possible, then at least you'll be able to keep your place if you have to go for a piss and you've got someone to nudge you and wake you up. Take an umbrella and a fold up chair, wrap up warm and take some snap. The burger van will probably be there and the last thing you want to do is lose your place in the queue because you can't stand the smell of onions any longer. And it is boring... very very boring.
