General Election.

May I propose that S24SU holds a General Election at some stage.

Maybe there could be a poll taken for each candidate who should state his manifesto to be elected as the nominee for 3 parties:

Pro Clough (Party)

Anti Clough (Party)

Give Clough the benefit of the doubt (Party)

Foxy and Linz ( whoever they might be!) should decide the timing of the General Election and of course the timing is critical so maybe the pro-Clough party should decide the timing of the election as is the case in our national democracy.

Any manifesto should be no longer than 5000 words and there should be no party donations whatsoever!

All memebers of S24SU should have one vote both to elect their candidate and in the final General Election vote.

Each candidate will have the opportunity to declare his/her manifesto, both for election as a candidate and thereafter as the elected candidate for his/her party.

Debate on any Forum is often about those with the loudest mouth and the most time to voice that mouth. An election provides the opportunity to hold a secret election.
