Strong but no end product
Still young though with time on his side and there’s value to having a disruptive force upfront. If he had already developed that consistent end product I think villa would keep him but as it is wouldn’t surprise me if he’s available this summer.

Could be Robinson on the left and Clark in the middle to maintain balance
It might have been if Robinson had been fit so instead it will prob be (from right to left) Anel, Clark and Bash.

I think there's a chance Anel would be bullied by Madine and Clarke would stand a better chance against him. That will mean a right-footer playing at LCB though - Bash did ok there away at Cov until that rush of blood in the final minute so off go with him and keep Anel in his preferred position.

Madine was a very good surprise. Seemed like he'd grown out of his cunty, piggy behaviour. Came across as decent and Billy backed him. And he's a beast in the box

Whenever he's come back to the Lane he's been a straightforward decent player. No acting up, diving or anything.
He's not good enough for us now, I just mean his behaviour btw.

I would move Clark to replace Egan and Robinson to replace Clark.
Clark is more experienced and better in the air with knowledge of how to deal with Madine, Robinson also good in the air and coming in on the left maintains balance.
I would also expect Clark to be a better organiser than any of the others, which is essential in that position

Would expect Clark in middle basham to come in..

Clark stayed left and Anel went to middle yesterday. The only reason not doing that again v Blackpool would be if Hecky doesn't fancy Anel up against Madine.

Madine isn’t daft, he’ll just peel off to one of our other CBs if he’s struggling to impact the game but let them worry about us because if we perform anything like we can then whatever Madine does won’t make much difference.

Anel looked decidedly panicky in that role. Clarke for me.
