I’m not even old enough to remember the tackle and can’t for the life of me find footage of it anywhere.

Whenever we’ve played one of his teams since I can’t even remember him playing at the Lane.

I take your point and I know loads of players have made some absolutely shocking tackles in the spur of the moment. I also know I’m probably being very hypocritical, but I cannot and never will forgive Ainsworth for that tackle. I was there on the day and it was one of the worse, most cowardly challenges I’ve seen. I wish Dane’s old fella had managed to get on their coach in the return leg!

There's no moving on for me mate ....... I saw the challenge and it was intended to take Dane out :mad:

Dane Whitehouse was a total Blade and that challenge effectively ended his career. He started with us as a little chap from the youth and grew into the team ...... I think I recall that he even refused to let the penny-pinching tw**s on the Board sell him.

I wish every possible misfortune on the scumbag Ainsworth .......

It wasn't just the fact he 'did' Dane; it was his cowardly actions afterwards. He never sought him out to apologise, just hid and played the victim because big bad Sheffield United had it in for him. He bottled a couple of visits to the Lane too. Tells you a lot about someone's character

I really doubt that, but it won't stop people on here baying for his blood.

What happened between him and Dane was horrible for sure. But the way people
wait for joy for anything bad to happen to him is beyond embarrassing at times.

We are happy to cheer on Saunders who ended Elliot's career and even Morgs after he fractured Hume's eye socket, but want
death for someone who did the same to Whitehouse. We need to take a look at ourselves.

So the universe is just waiting for the right time to dish out retribution for something that happened years ago?
Even if Ainsworth gets relegated with no points next year, its still a decent season considering the size/budget of his club.

Just to clarify my position again, Karma is utter bollocks.
