1990-92-sheffield-united-home-15386-1.jpg 9b13200954d9e152b298d5ac4d75d7fc.jpg Saw these two mashed together (when I say mashed they looked a pretty nifty bit of tailoring) away at Forest, when we relegated them.
If I remember it was a fella & his other half/sister/close female friend wearing them.....but never seen since.

I'm a two.
When I was a kid I used to wear either the R&W Stripes (hardly changed from me being 6 to sixteen I don't think) or the classic White with Red collar and cuffs (only ever got the one from Fred Archers).
When I stopped playing on the local parks (jumpers for goalposts etc.) and joined "teams" I wore their kit so I've never bought one since.
Would never (EVER) wear one when not playing, they just don't look very good away from a football pitch.

I've got a couple of Blades shirts and a weird training polo shirt from about 15 years ago. I only wear them when I'm doing exercise.

This is the 1st year I have had a shirt - and hopefully promotion.............anyone want to buy me one next year? Might be 2 on the trot :)

UTB

I dont have a full kit, got lots of united shirts that I have bought over the years, maybe about 15 in all. Some below.

I've got 90-92, 94-95, 95-96, 96-97, 97-99, 99-00, 00-02, 02-04, 05-06, 06-07, 07-08, 10-11, 11-12 home. 89-91, 93-94, 95-97, 00-01, 07-08, 10-11 away, the anniversary black one with all the names in and the 12-13 away keeper top. Haven't worn most of them in years, and never had a full kit, but did have the yellow/purple socks. Tend to wear 07-08 or 96-97 to matches or sometimes the 10-11 away. This season's kit is the best in ages, really haven't liked any of the addidas kits.

Ooooh, a good 8......

1 for me

never owned a current kit.

I purchased a retro kit for one of the wasted trips to Wembley and only ever wore that once

generally only bean poles or men under 25 should wear football kits imo

I'm an exile :( in the filthy capital. Get to a few home games a season and all away games daaaaan saaaaaaf (except when I can't get tickets, bloody Wimbledon)... so I see buying merchandise as a way for me to pump my share of money into the club. So I buy for me, mrs Teddy and as gifts for blades and anyone else I reckon will wear it (and occasionally S6 mates as a wind) :D

I wear them to exercise and to matches. So I'm a 7?

Yep, a solid 7 there Ted. Keep in the good work.

I haven't read any of the thread but I think they should probably wear a full kit. If they were wearing no kit, it might be a bit cold.

Sensible in the sense of not reading any of the thread.

Haven't bought one for years (think the last I got was the free anniversary shirt given to season ticket holders).

Bought the Wards shirt (in my avatar) the first game after it came out from a sport shop on the high street (might have been what is now the Starbucks? Somewhere in that region), which coincided with me being given press box tickets for the first time, and being sent off to the lane with a shoulder carry Marantz tape recorder to interview people.

Didn't fully appreciate at the time that there was a free press bar, so got leathered (as you would). Woke up in the morning and my pristine shirt had threads pulled all over the front. Couldn't believe the low quality of the manufacturing process, so marched down to the shop to ask them to explain themselves! ("Sorry, it's a new product. Take another, if it happens again bring it back?").

Took me a few days to realise the tape deck strap was covered in velcrose.

Full kit every Xmas until age 12. Never worn a kit at a match after age 13 when I had my first Fila top and Diadora Borg elite trainers.

Occasional shirt purchase and given as present, but all since sold on ebay, except the white Wembley Wards away kit that I've kept (more for my Wards memories).

Do like a nice tie though. Shame the club favour polyester over silk, with only one tie per year in silk. Perhaps a reflection of our past transfer policy. Why have silk when polyester will do....

PS - in the romance department always prefer a full kit... Who doesn't!!
