That red on Wallace is, shall we say, an interesting decision
Yeah looked very harsh on the lad but them ones are always given. Anyone reckon there is enough to appeal it or not? Contact is minimal but never the less enough to be deemed as denying a goalscoring opportunity I guess.
Straight red for me.
Complete stupidity from Alcock for the penalty as well.
Why do that ?
I seem to remember that but can't recall which game. Was it alcock who gave away a silly penalty last year as well? I don't have much confidence in the lad at the best of times.
In a competition thareally does not matter, its bloody stupid to lose 2 players now out for a couple of games

Nah, two Utd defenders clearly running into box ahead of his run. Very harshYeah looked very harsh on the lad but them ones are always given. Anyone reckon there is enough to appeal it or not? Contact is minimal but never the less enough to be deemed as denying a goalscoring opportunity I guess.
I'm probably a bit one eyed, but I think a different ref might have produced two yellows instead of two reds. Baxter was reckless and he was late (though he got there as quick as he could) and the speed the lad was travelling at made it look spectacular, but it was a trip, not a leg breaker. .

My highlight was watching some silly arse maraud down the steps to force the stewards to move for once in the 90 minutes... I wonder who that was?
The Fulham player isn't sprinting to start with, but he then accelerates and surprisingly knocks it past Baxter with his left foot. This fools Baxter and his momentum makes it impossible for him to retract. If their player hadn't speed up I think Baxter could possibly have got his foot on the ball first. But agree it was clumsy.

Just a thought - as there are arguably covering defenders is it worth appealing Wallace's red card? If we time the appeal right he'll be available for Saturday and if it's unsuccessful he'd only miss the Hartlepool game...
A mate in with the Fulham fans behind that goal was adamant it was a harsh red – there was apparently a general feeling of surprise in the stand that it was given. Looking at the replay, I think McGahey is near enough to raise some doubt on the 'last man' point.
That's pretty much how I viewed it too - apart from I'd say Wallace was deserving of a yellow but nothing more.So to summarise:
Late reckless tackle by Baxter, Yellow card
Wallace brushes player who goes down like he's shot, not even a yellow.
3rd goal clearly offside.
Referee a dick.

I think McGahey plays Dembele onside, judging by these videos:
