At kickoff we basically took control and put our mark on the game. Brighton edgily tried to penetrate but the likes of Basham and Lundstram snuffed any ventures out.

From then on in, we just made Brighton look pathetic and ordinary. We had control of the game and went in deservedly in front.

First game of the season pommpey ?

Don't you know that our opponents always save their worse display/off day for the Blades? 😂

Well very soon they’re all going to experience their second “worst game of the season” as we now embark on the return fixtures.

They all tend to play badly or have off days against 'this season's surprise package, Sheffield United', somehow. Don't know what it is about us that makes them draw or lose against us. It's a mystery.

Always a pleasure to read a good report after another good performance.

Surprisingly for me, I quite missed having music before kick offs, instead we had dreary interviews and bits to watch on the big screen.
Also, what the fuck was that Sussex themed shit they came out of the tunnel to? Absolute shocker.

Yeah. There were a shedload of seemingly unlistenable, mumbly interviews with various twerps in the crowd to watch and wonder what the fuck was going on. I think it was 'family club' stuff. Certainly they seemed like a family club when those two potty mouthed wankers were effing and jeffing with kids nearby when we had our goals chalked off.

In other stuff, I noticed a whole series of empty seats in front of us which made me worry a bit that a minibus was either broke down or was being washed away in the floods.
