We’ve hardly any serious investment compared to most … we spent a bit of money for little old Sheffield United but we’ve hardly rolled the dice

Let’s wait til the end of the window. Although previous window was dire, up until the last 24 hrs before it closed people were saying similar. We then signed 14 crap players.
This window has already been significantly better than last summer!!! We’d need to shoot a few to make it worse!

Deadline day … Fred Onyedinma Malik Mothersille and Aaron Connolly

i said on another thread that we would either be twisting or sticking in this window and for me the 2 results at charlton and southampton have convinced our owners to stick rather than twist im sure most of our major business will be done this summer when weve a better chance of getting rid of the dross selles brought in

Blatantly obvious that we are 17th, facing a bit of a financial cliff edge next season and the board have cut links with the professional gambler whose recommendations last summer cost us the best part of £10m with little-to-no return.
Being also 17th makes it really hard for us to secure the players who can improve our team. Any agent worth his salt is going to shop those players around the teams at the top teams before we get a look in.

The Oxford posponement was a real problem for us, we probably win that and go on to beat Charlton (we win that game 97 times out of 100 - with what happened the only scenario we lose). An extra 6 pts and we are in the top half 3pts from the playoffs, and the form team in the league which would be a much easier sell to prospective players.

Plus the wilder roundabout I'll in motion no doubt with these puppets.

I don't even think Man City were 1/33 when we last played at their place
