New year health kick? Fancy wobbling round the pitch with other unfit Blades? Last week was interesting to say the least!

This is in General Blades Chat as it is an open invite to all.

For a few years, a number of us have been intermittently meeting on a Sunday morning to have a friendly, "non-competitive" game of football. It started as a way to keep in touch through the close season and carried on.

All age-ranges and abilities are welcome and the cost of the pitches are shared equally between those playing.

This week we'll be playing at Goals, Norfolk Park Road and the cost will be £2 each, most probably less if we get enough.

So, if anyone is free this coming Sunday morning and fancies a game, this is what you need to know:

Venue: Goals, Norfolk Park Road, Sheffield

Time: 10:00
Cost: Around £2 each - most probably less.
What you need: Trainers or astro-turf boots. No studs. Shinpads optional. A sense of humour.

Guests are welcome.

Please yay or nay for definite by Friday night if possible.

Welcome aboard.

I'm going to have pull out, as i'm going to Charlton tomorrow and i reckon come Sunday morning i'll be in bed, hammered.

Looks like we may just be on if everyone turns up.

Any more?

I'll be there too....

I'll turn up. Can't promise any sexy touches like normal though...

Good to meet you Rich.

I was dogshit today, but does anyone know how the real event went? the far more difficult test of footballing prowess, a game of skill, class and the ultimate test all footballers face.... The crossbar challenge?
