How about Duffy and Hogan?

As a matter of interest, do you go on other club's websites and ask for their views?
Or just browse around / search and see what you can find?
I'm not sure how anyone could comment on Duffy considering how few minutes he's spent on the pitch

Couttsy still class I look for fleetwoods results too for him, shame managed by a nob ! Hope they go up though

As others have said made up for Couttsy. Always have a look for fleetwoods result and to see if he’s played a full game and if I’m honest a quick look to see if cheds bagged

Duffys lack of game time is baffling. That manager needs his bumps feeling

Appreciate that in the end it boiled down to PC choosing to play regular football, which he wouldn’t get here. Good on him for that.

But, match fitness taken as a given, I have no doubt that he would have displaced Norwood and taken to PL football in the same way his mate has done.

What a shame we never got to see that 😞.

Glad he appears to be doing well in a competitive side.

Part of the Duffy deal was he has to play certain amount of games that’s why he keeps coming on as a late sub

Duffy's position at Stoke is a perplexing one. We have a major player in our promotion years who can't get into the team in which is at rock-bottom of the league. Thinking about it, I can see at least three possible reasons for his decline. 1. He has totally thrown his rattles out of the pram and just can't be arsed to do anything but pick up his pay. 2. His form has dipped so much in the few months since he left us that he can't get into the team. 3. He came to us at exactly the right moment in his career and our style of play exactly suited his skills and he was mentored by a superb manager. Unfortunately he will not play for a similar manager until his career finishes and that is a very sad state of affairs for a player I loved to watch. When he came to us he was not particularly well thought of but grew into our style culminating in the title of Bounce Killer and, for that, I will always think of him as one of my favourite players.

The manager is rigidly sticking to what he thinks is the answer and it's clearly not. I fully expect he'll be out for the international break and they'll get someone in who doesn't have his own philosophy to rigidly stick to.

They need someone to come in and look at what they have and formulate something based on that. They have a handful of very decent Championship players that should be at the top end, and not many true stinkers.

I feel sorry for Nathan Jones because he obviously thought he was the reason Luton were successful and that's not been the case, as Luton carried on just fine without him and are now doing better than Stoke, but he can take some comfort from the fact they were shite under Rowett too.

For me Madine was impressive when he had his loan spell with us, Cardiff must have some team, if he can't even make their bench.

Not particularly well thought of??????

Some of us had been wanting to sign him for years as he always had a blinder against us, especially at Scunny.

I reckon Madine is being frozen out because they owe him a bonus payment / appearance bonus.

It will be why Warnock is keen to move him on and was hoping we would take him permanently.
TBF the Madine transfer to Cardiff is further testimony as to why Warnock should never be given more than 7s/6d to spend on players. He spent 6m on Madine okay did reasonably well for us but, he's not a 6m footballer, I won't even mention Horsfield.

Warnock and lots of money never go well.

I was listening to the Under The Cosh podcast last night with Gerry Taggart and he shared his views on Ade Akinbiyi's ability as a player which were eye opening.

Bladesman I remember playing Leicester at Lane and Akinbyi was up front for them, he had a clear shot at goal from around 6 yards put it 15 yards over the bar.

According to Taggert the brightness of the flood lights are to blame for his 6 yard misses. Although it doesn't explain how he missed sitters during the daytime. 🤣

‘I’d take 10 more Washingtons’

🤯🤯🤯

Low standards up there. If only their women had, I might have had a chance this holiday........

Signed Madine - Cardiff go up

Signed Akinbiyi - Blades go up.

Warnock’s an idiot.
TBF I've not said and sure no one said he was I could have missed it, but not seen anyone call him an idiot, by his own admission he's poor at spending transfer money.

What sort of evidence since his leg break do you have to say justify that comment?

You forgot 4. A numpty manager who so far has played him wide right in a three behind the striker, wide right in a diamond and most stupid of all at the base of the diamond formation he is obsessed with.

Play Duffy in his natural 10 position and he will thrive but the problem is thats where Ince and Powell also play. You wonder if Jones had ever seen Duffy play before he signed him on loan.
