..t'owd 'Leadboots' eh...who'da thunk it! ;):D

Cheers Roy.

TD is our Jose Baxter...

''Sounds like he hasn’t got in any more bother.Hopefully he’s a reformed character”

but then....

“Why did we even entertain the idea of bringing this oxygen thief back? Utter joke.”

Harsh! :D

Completely forgot Miller even existed, but no amount of booze will allow me to forget we were once reliant upon Chris Porter! With the exception of a few great academy players we've had some real dross this last 6 years or so. No wonder we are all so excited to watch our current crop of: talented, positive and committed players.

Ha ha i'm just doing a few posts to get used to things on my new site to be honest

Like the new website the new website though, much cleaner, simpler and more professional in its current format, good work (providing you can get your priorities right and stop boozing on a match night).

He will just keep nursing that hard on until he stops getting paid ,Oxygen thief is totally accurate. As for Maguire and Doyle ,pleased how they are doing ,gave their all for us.

Excellent idea to theme it on the Cup run. Not the best of times in general, but the Cup run was memorable, and those players all played significant roles, so deserve some recognition. It is a measure of progress that Harry is the only one who would make it into our side now, so the round-up serves as both a good memory and a spur to optimism. Cheers for that.

“Think he’s nursing an injury”

“The only thing he’s nursing is a semi at the fact he’s still getting paid to play footy.”

:D:D:D

This time next year Maguire will be at a top 5 premier league club, and he'll have cost between 3/4's to a whole van dijk. His career is following a similar, slightly steeper trajectory than Gary Cahill's. GLTTL

Remember the days when we were pinning our hopes of promotion on the midfield skills of Jose Baxter.

We needed to see the likes of Duffy, Fleck and Coutts to show how far we'd fallen.

Miller's gone back to Crewe on loan.

You know what that means don't you?

The return of the Porter and Miller strike partnership!

The one that would've got us up but for an ACL injury and a crazy decision to sell Blackman.

On a par with the brief-but-effective Saunders-Katchouro partnership of the Bruce era.

The comment about not wanting Baxter (and Jeffers) around the youth squad shouldn't have even needed saying but I think the Everton hierarchy should take note now somebody did say it.
